My Indigo Journey · Natural indigo

The blue doesn't come fast.

Since August 2026, a small balcony in Da Nang has been my indigo corner: filtering ash, mixing indigo paste, waking up the vat… and waiting. The cloth leaves the vat green and turns blue as it meets the air — every dip adds a little more depth. Some days the blue comes alive. Some days it doesn't, and I learn why.

Dip. Lift. Wait. — Every line, made by hand.

Indigo workshop · opening soon, planned for November 2026

A session at the indigo vat; you make one piece and take it home.

Pick one of the types below — a painting on linen, a tote bag from set designs or a set of coasters — then create the pattern with me using shibori (folding, binding, clamping) or beeswax resist, dip it in indigo and wait for the blue. I guide every step on the spot.

  • 3 hours per session
  • Up to 6 people
  • In English or Vietnamese
  • From age 5 · children 5–9 come with a parent
  1. Choose a type below.
  2. Send your details through My Indigo Journey on Facebook — I call back on Zalo to fix the date, size or design.
  3. Pay by a QR code that carries the workshop date, before or after the session.

Not open yet — planned for around November 2026; dates will be posted on the Facebook page. Send your details now and I'll note your name and tell you first.

About your information

  • This site has no registration form and sends nothing anywhere. Registration and scheduling happen on Facebook.
  • The QR code is generated on your device. The name you type appears only in the bank transfer reference, so I can recognise the payment on my statement.
  • If your browser cannot draw the QR code, the page falls back to SePay's QR image service — the transfer reference is then sent to that service to render the image.
  • The site stores no account or card details. The transfer happens inside your own banking app.
